This confirms the alternative theory of gravity. The very space-time concept, on which theories of relativity are founded, has been mathematically, theoretically & experimentally proved as baseless and openly challenged on the basis of published scientific articles. Since the very space-time concept has been proved as baseless the question of curvature of space-time being correct does not arise. your imagine of how star formation lacking only dust and gas,not true , the star to spring up need to solve unlimited parameters need infinity brain .

for example of parameter mixture of elements and its proprites ,mass,quantity of elements and its ratio,quantity of heat,how to rise up,start of ignition how....!? trajectory w.r.t other...........etc

There is no Proof whatsoever, that new stars arise out of these "dust and gas clouds", nor that they are strewn with the seeds of new stars. it is just as probable and likely that we are looking at the remnants of past explosions of unknown violence, and those are not seeds of new stars but bits of old star parts. PROOF! NONE!

You're right, we absolutely should not learn about the universe we live in.  There are literally 0 benefits.  We need to bury our heads in the sand, learn nothing and not grow as a species at all.

@BillBacurat You don't do much research, do you? For every dollar the government spends, NASA sees a penny of that.

@BillBacurat One thing to take into account is that all modern computer and communications technology came out of space program research and development. That research is responsible for computers, cell phones, the internet, and basically 90 percent of our economy.

Offhand I would say that investment paid off in spades. We need more Sputnik moments not less.

@BillBacurat Not "politicians" in general; it is Democrats, RINOs (i.e., Republicans-in-name-only), establishment-Repugnicans and CINOs (i.e., conservatives-in-name-only). But look, this portion of the space program is nothing as compared to the moneys spent in "welfare" (BTW, by "welfare", the Constitution does  not mean the creation of underclasses addicted to dependency on government, and it does not either give the authority to anyone to do it. The Constitution was created "... in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,...", to which effect the Constitution gives NOBODY free hands to do any of it; the Constitution gives, to that effect, enumerated and well delimited authorizations (aka "powers") to each of the three branches of the federal government, and that's it, nothing more. For example, the Constitution does not authorize anyone to "...fundamentally transform the United States..." as Obama vowed during his first presidential campaign and which he is doing now. Neither the Constitution authorize the creation of anything even resembling Obamacare, despite what dictatorially John Roberts, that vile energumen in the U.S. supreme court, dictated and imposed on us, We the People, his bosses.

Maria,  I have no problem with the space program in general.  We just can't afford it and many other programs right now until this massive debt is reigned in.  

During the Gov. Shutdown, I was hoping the States would seize back the National Parks from the Feds who have absolutely no business in owning/running them.  The number of Government employees with life long benefits,  at around 2.4 million people, is mind blowing.  Gov Employees argue "we pay taxes".. Well, no they really don't.  They recycle taxes produced from the shrinking private sector economy.


Every government entity makes the same argument,  "it's really such a small piece of the whole debt".  Add them all together, and you have the massive debt we have now.
