NASA’s Deep Space Network has been receiving images from space for 50 years now, but the probes also send back sounds.

As electromagnetic data is picked up and converted in to sound waves, the result is an amazing chorus of different sounds from all the planets in our solar system.

All planet images and sounds in this video were taken by NASA’s space probes, with no graphics or CGI included.

What a bizarre decision to add music to this.

You messed up the video using that lame soundtrack, why couldn't you just let the sounds play.

Pleasepleaseplease … change the music - Gustav Holst´s "Planets" would be a solution as AllisonStara suggested. Or - much better - just use the sounds, that are the theme of the clip. Less would have been more.

Love that this ended with Pale Blue Dot. I miss Carl Sagan.

too bad one has to tolerate the funky mozart. couldn't you have at least used Pink Floyd? Or just the planets a capella?
