GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons Goes to Haiti

About a month ago, we posted an item about GoDaddy CEO Bob Parson’s elephant-hunting safari in Zimbabwe. (You can find it here.) Parsons came under a little criticism, though as he told us later, he wasn’t the least bit sorry. He claimed that the hunt was an act of charity, killing an elephant that had been destroying crops for hungry villagers and providing a much-needed infusion of currency for people in Zimbabwe. Environmentalists, though, disagreed.

In any case, Parsons is back in the news with another self-produced video. No hunting this time—Parsons has filmed his charitable adventures in Haiti, where he has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in the wake of the 2010 earthquake. (Donations, his PR people were sure to tell me, came before the whole elephant kerfuffle.) Enjoy, and have a good weekend:
