Sunday’s sunrise appeared with a rare, “hybrid” solar eclipse, visible throughout the East Coast and spanning as far west as eastern Ohio, eastern Kentucky, eastern TennesseeĀ and parts of Georgia.
The eclipse rose over eastern skies at about 6:30 a.m., and was one of only two to occur this year, USA Today reports.
The next opportunity to spot a complete solar eclipse in the U.S. will be Aug. 21, 2017.
