Researchers have found monkeys in South and Central America that mix more fruit into their daily diet than a Jamba Juice addict.

According to the BBC, researchers analyzed primate diets from 290 studies spanning 42 years, and found that among all of the primate species the middle-sized ones have a wild lust for fruit. Some species, like the Saki monkey, eat upwards of 50 varieties a day. Bananas take a backseat to more exotic produce from Pouteria and Brosimum trees.

The study also reveals a link between taste and body-size. Bodies tend to get larger as monkeys graduate from insects to fruit, and larger still as they graduate to even trickier digestive feats, like eating leaves.
