Russian astronauts are embarking on their third spacewalk this week to install two cameras outside the International Space Station.
Oleg Kotov and Sergey Ryazanskiy began their seven-hour Extra Vehicular Activity spacewalk at 8 a.m. EST, which they are live-streaming from their helmet cameras. A high resolution 4k camera can be aimed at targets while the medium resolution camera will be fixed on whatever is below the Space Station as it orbits the Earth.
The cameras will transmit images to Canada company UrtheCast, which will provide images for free on the internet as well as sell images to customers who want the camera pointed at a specific target.
